The Role

SurveyMonkey is looking for a Senior Communications Manager, Product PR & Analyst Relations. Reporting to the Head of Comms, this person will be responsible for driving communications that support SurveyMonkey as the leader in People Powered Data.

This person will be responsible for developing and executing campaigns that support our portfolio of survey products for employee engagement, customer success and market research. In addition, this person will build and maintain strong relationships with industry analyst firms, and develop and execute the strategy on engaging the analyst and influencer community.

Working closely with product marketing, product management and sales, this person will highlight product news, partner integrations, customer case studies, and help develop thought leadership perspectives on employee engagement, customer success and market research



  • Develop deep subject matter expertise in SurveyMonkey’s portfolio of People Powered Data products and technologies
  • Guide communications strategy for key areas of our portfolio, working cross functionally with internal key stakeholders including the Product, Engineering and Product Marketing teams
  • Work with Business Strategy to develop an understanding of the market landscape
  • Help build an analyst relations program from the ground up. Develop and maintain positive relationships with key analysts, influence analyst research on SurveyMonkey and the markets that SurveyMonkey competes in, and own SurveyMonkey’s participation in competitive evaluations and influential reports.
  • Consistently represent SurveyMonkey’s products, values and culture
  • Travel as needed to execute programs



  • Strong understanding of the enterprise software industry with a particular focus on cloud computing, market research and data, AI, machine learning
  • Existing relationships and experience working with target industry analysts a plus
  • Previous experience of executing a product review program and working on product guides a plus.
  • Storyteller: can construct interesting narrative that moves business and reputation forward externally and fosters our one-of-a-kind culture internally
  • Team builder: can easily bring people together from different backgrounds, skills and reporting structures and create a coherent, cross-functional team
  • Outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic: independent thinker, driven, takes initiative yet works well with others
  • Detailed yet flexible thinker: must be nimble enough to respond quickly to changing circumstances, but careful and detailed in thinking, strategy and execution
  • Solid presentation/communication skills: ability to persuade others about what’s needed to get projects done
  • Extremely organized and willing to implement down to the smallest detail
  • BS/BA degree and 6+ years of experience in public relations and/or journalism required. Previous experience leading content for an Intranet is a plus
