Usabilla was acquired by SurveyMonkey, a San Mateo-based global survey software company, in April of 2019. As our number of global enterprise clients and satellite offices continue to grow, we’re in need of consultative challengers to craft a new kind of tech company that values revenue as much as solving hard problems for their customers. That’s why we’re looking for an analytical, persuasive, and digitally fluent Account Executive in New York City to take our Sales team to impressive new heights and ensure Usabilla by SurveyMonkey continues to stand out in the SaaS scene.

 

The Team:

As a Usabilla Account Executive, you’ll stand amongst the proud frontline of our company. You’re the expert our prospective customers depend on to understand where and how much value they’ll create for their organization by improving the way they listen to their customers. This includes identifying and reaching out to prospective customers (in addition to benefiting from meetings set for you from our scaled demand generation organization) by recommending digital feedback collection strategies, automated workflows, creating proposals, negotiating terms and defending the ROI of high five-figure and six-figure SaaS subscriptions.

You’ll be part of our fast-growing Sales team based in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood. Working alongside 22 colleagues including the Head of Business Development, 6 Account Executives, a team of Business Development Representatives, a team of customer success managers and Demand generation. You’ll report directly to the Head of Business Development, Americas.

 

A typical day for you will involve:

 

  • Identifying and empathizing with prospect needs. You’ll really listen to and understand the business drivers behind requests, presenting Usabilla as a valuable solution and then effectively defending that value
  • Mastering the Usabilla product and having a mastery of the industry, ecosystem of vendors, and competition and then mastering the other products in the SurveyMonkey portfolio
  • Creating demand through campaigns and lead generation via networking, events, conferences  etc.
  • Using detail-oriented communication skills to execute consultative selling, perform in-depth sales presentations, and give flawless demonstrations of the Usabilla software
  • Collaborating with a whole bunch of talented colleagues, from Marketeers to Engineers, from both the New York, Berlin, London, Sydney and Amsterdam office
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ key business drivers
  • Formulate and present formal proposals

 

 

Your skills:

  • B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally to leaders within the product, marketing and UX departments
  • Demonstrable track record of above-target performance, especially in a startup environment
  • Excellent forecasting, reporting, and communication skills
  • Extraordinary presentation and interpersonal skills, and an ability to interface to senior levels of an organization and develop productive C-level relationships
  • Considerable experience in solution-selling and a proven track record of sourcing new accounts
  • Proven ability to lead an effective sales process and close new business
  • You’re driven, passionate, and enthusiastic and you love connecting with new people
  • Your presentation, time management, and communication skills are on point
  • Demonstrable track record of above-target performance, especially in a startup environment
  • You have a keen interest in the tech industry
  • We’re growing fast as new opportunities continue to arise, a flexible and enthusiastic attitude will ensure you keep up with the pace
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and other virtual selling tools
