Financing.
Select three (3) most important
options for the growth and development of your company's business.
The priority is to support the development of the AV business to an International level, regardless of the genre of content the company produces
Funding for Finnish film must be brought up to the Nordic level
More funds should be allocated to the development and production support of Finnish drama series
More funds should be allocated to the development and production support of Finnish animation productions
New forms of funding should be targeted in particular at new forms such as the co-development of games and audiovisual content
Above all, public funds must support the work of young people, whatever their genre is.
First, we need to review all existing funding models and only then consider new ones.
Public funding instruments should be designed customer centric and in future should be based on documented objectives and indicators.
The industry needs a new form of cooperation between private and public capital, e.g. through the establishment of a capital fund where private money is doubled by public capital.
More funds should be allocated to the development of Finnish content formats
Introduce an AVMS Directive-enabled streaming fee to be collected from streaming services to support domestic content and creating IP in Finland
Sustainability must be part of the criteria for financial instruments
The production incentive should be established as a permanent and predictable financial instrument with a sufficient annual budget

Ensuring the skills. Select three (3) most important options
for the growth and development of your business.
The priority is to train producers and business management so that domestic companies mature to an International level
It is important to train existing skilled business professionals to better understand the International business of the AV sector, so that they can help Finnish companies to internationalise
The key is to train production managers and line producers to improve the quality of production budgeting and production execution
The most important thing is to teach people management and project management skills (budgeting, cost tracking, scheduling and periodic work) to the Head of Department
The important thing is to have an apprenticeship program that works in the field
The key is to increase secondary education in the Av sector in order to guarantee a workforce for the industry
Finnish creators should be offered more new ways of exchanging skills in order to get them to learn more about working at an international level
The industry should create its own fast-track model to facilitate the recruitment of international talent
The most important thing is to permanently restore the funding of universities in the sector back to the level at which it corresponds to the cost of education.

If your business aims to grow and to internationalize, would your company participate in a partially self-financed (around 2000e/camp) Business Bootcamp with several International and domestic companies facing the same type of growth obstacles? International marketing. Select three ( 3) most important options
for your company's business development.
Significantly more needs to be invested in the international marketing of Finland as a production country in order to bring the measures in line with the objectives.
The resources of the Team Finland network (Business Finland's regional offices in 40 countries and the Foreign Ministry's embassies) should include the possibility to support networking and marketing in the audiovisual sector
Encounters that stimulate international growth should be given equal importance with other industrial sectors.
In addition, export trips and participation in international events should be given a fresh new form and the training of participants should be included in export activities
The most important thing for Finland is to have one influential, knowledgeable representative with a global network, who will bring persistence and permanence in building international relations
Finland should invest more and more in joint Nordic activities
Finland must invest more in cooperation between domestic actors and boldly market itself as Finland
Finland should actively seek to market itself in the US and partner strategically with the UK for several years
For Finland, it would be important to select one junior producer each year to represent Finland at international events and to handle customer service for Film in Finland. The junior producer would acquire one "exchange student" during the year to establish relations with the international community and would be present at all international events
Curated meetings with international funders and distributors
